    Investopia 2024

Premium event furniture supplied and installed by Evolution Furniture for Investopia 2024.

Investopia 2024 transformed The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort into a series of premium hospitality environments designed to support conferences, executive discussions and networking throughout the event. Multiple areas across the venue required carefully coordinated furniture solutions that reflected the event's contemporary branding while providing practical, comfortable spaces for guests.

Evolution Furniture supplied, delivered, installed and de-rigged furniture across the plenary stage, Majlis, Iconnections area, offices, foyer spaces and outdoor hospitality environments. By combining modern furniture collections with coordinated styling and planting, each temporary interior maintained a consistent visual identity while supporting the operational requirements of the venue.

    The Challenge

Creating a cohesive hospitality experience across numerous spaces required more than simply supplying furniture. Each environment served a different purpose, from formal conference settings and executive meeting spaces to networking lounges and outdoor hospitality areas, while still needing to feel connected as part of one overall guest journey.

The project required furniture that could complement the premium surroundings of The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort while remaining practical for continuous use throughout the event. Consistency in colour palette, furniture styling and layout planning was essential to ensure every area reflected the same high standard without becoming repetitive.

    Space Planning & Guest Experience

Furniture layouts were tailored to the function of each individual space while contributing to a seamless overall experience throughout the venue. The Majlis and Iconnections areas encouraged informal conversations through relaxed lounge seating, while foyer spaces created welcoming transition areas between conference sessions.

Operational offices were furnished with practical layouts that supported the event team, while outdoor hospitality areas extended the guest experience beyond the internal conference spaces using contemporary tables and complementary planting. Together, these environments provided a consistent flow without compromising the distinct purpose of each location.

    Project Outcome

Investopia 2024 demonstrated how carefully planned furniture layouts can unify multiple hospitality environments within a single venue. Through contemporary furniture, coordinated styling and efficient operational delivery, Evolution Furniture created welcoming temporary interiors that supported networking, discussion and executive hospitality while maintaining a consistent design language throughout the event.

    Project Ecosystem

Delivered at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, Investopia 2024 featured hospitality environments ranging from conference and Majlis settings to networking lounges, offices and outdoor spaces. Evolution Furniture supplied, installed and de-rigged contemporary furniture throughout the venue, creating a cohesive temporary interior across every environment.

Human Fraternity Majlis at Abrahamic Family House, Abu Dhabi

Soft seating and decorative styling creating an elegant temporary hospitality interior.

The Human Fraternity Majlis at Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi was created to provide a welcoming hospitality environment that encouraged conversation, reflection and meaningful cultural exchange. Set within one of the UAE's most significant architectural landmarks, the project required a temporary interior that respected the simplicity of the surrounding space while delivering the comfort and functionality expected from a premium hospitality environment.

Evolution Furniture supplied a complete furniture package comprising contemporary lounge seating, coffee tables, side tables, rugs, presentation furniture and decorative styling. Alongside furniture rental, Evolution Furniture managed the delivery, installation and complete de-rig of the project, ensuring every hospitality setting was delivered to a consistently high standard while integrating seamlessly within the wider visitor environment.

    The Challenge

Designing a contemporary Majlis presents a different challenge to furnishing a conference or exhibition. Rather than accommodating large audiences or formal presentations, the furniture needed to create a calm and welcoming environment where visitors could comfortably gather, converse and spend time within the space.

The temporary installation also needed to complement the clean architectural language of Abrahamic Family House. Every furniture collection, styling element and decorative accessory had to feel carefully considered, ensuring the hospitality environment enhanced the venue without competing with its distinctive design.

Creating this balance required more than selecting premium furniture. The success of the project relied on how each furniture arrangement, rug, table and decorative feature worked together to create one cohesive temporary interior that felt refined, comfortable and visually complete.

    Space Planning & Guest Experience

Every furniture arrangement was planned to encourage comfortable conversation while maintaining openness throughout the Majlis.

Sofas were grouped into intimate hospitality settings rather than formal seating rows, allowing visitors to engage naturally within smaller conversation areas. Coffee tables provided practical central surfaces while side tables introduced additional functionality without creating visual clutter.

Layered rugs subtly defined each seating arrangement, allowing multiple hospitality settings to coexist within one unified temporary interior. Decorative styling further softened the furniture layouts, with matte vases and dried floral arrangements introducing carefully considered finishing touches that enhanced the overall atmosphere.

The completed layouts demonstrated how temporary hospitality furniture can influence the visitor experience through thoughtful planning rather than simply increasing seating capacity. Every arrangement contributed to an environment that felt welcoming, balanced and appropriate for its cultural setting.

    Project Outcome

The completed Human Fraternity Majlis successfully transformed a temporary installation into a sophisticated hospitality environment that reflected the quality and architectural significance of Abrahamic Family House.

Neutral lounge seating, natural timber furniture, layered rugs and carefully curated decorative styling worked together to create welcoming conversation areas that balanced functionality with refined contemporary design. Every furniture collection contributed to an environment that encouraged meaningful interaction while maintaining a calm and elegant atmosphere.

By combining premium furniture rental with professional installation, decorative styling and complete operational delivery, Evolution Furniture created a temporary Majlis that demonstrated how thoughtfully planned hospitality furniture can shape visitor experience while integrating seamlessly within culturally significant environments.

    Project Ecosystem

The Human Fraternity Majlis formed part of the wider visitor experience at Abrahamic Family House, Abu Dhabi. Evolution Furniture was responsible for the hospitality furniture, decorative styling, delivery, installation and complete de-rig, creating a refined temporary Majlis environment that integrated seamlessly within one of the UAE's most significant cultural destinations.

Ed Sheeran – Dubai Rugby Sevens 2024

Evolution Furniture Murphy sofas creating a premium artist lounge for Ed Sheeran backstage in Dubai.

For Ed Sheeran's performance at Dubai Rugby Sevens in January 2024, Evolution Furniture was appointed by All Things Live Middle East to furnish and style the complete backstage hospitality environment supporting one of the region's most anticipated live music performances.

Working across the artist green room, dressing rooms, production offices and lounge areas, Evolution Furniture supplied premium rental furniture, hospitality styling and operational accessories that transformed functional backstage spaces into comfortable, professional environments. Every room was planned to support artists, touring personnel and production teams while maintaining the quality expected for an international touring production.

    The Challenge

Unlike public hospitality areas, backstage environments must support a wide variety of operational requirements within temporary event infrastructure. Artist lounges, dressing rooms and production offices all perform different functions while needing to maintain a consistent level of comfort, privacy and practicality.

The objective was to furnish multiple Back of House (BOH) spaces that would support relaxation, preparation, meetings and production activities while ensuring each room reflected the professional standards expected by an international headline artist.

    Space Planning & Guest Experience

Each backstage area was furnished according to its operational purpose while maintaining a unified visual identity across the venue.

The green room featured comfortable lounge settings with coordinated sofas, armchairs and coffee tables, creating a relaxed environment before and after the performance. Dressing rooms combined seating with full-height mirrors, hanging rails and supporting accessories to provide practical preparation spaces for artists and crew.

Dedicated production offices incorporated Mercury work tables together with Samuel task chairs and Leo executive seating, providing comfortable workstations for backstage coordination teams. Furniture layouts maintained clear circulation throughout every room while allowing each environment to operate independently.

    Project Outcome

The completed project delivered a collection of professionally furnished backstage hospitality environments that supported both artist comfort and production efficiency.

By combining premium furniture collections with practical dressing room infrastructure, production workspaces and carefully selected styling elements, Evolution Furniture created artist-ready spaces that reflected the quality and professionalism expected for a major international touring production.

    Project Ecosystem

This project highlights Evolution Furniture's expertise in supplying and installing event furniture for luxury hotel celebrations, delivering temporary hospitality environments that combine operational efficiency with premium guest experiences.

The Life Story of a Lounge Chair

Lounge chair positioned within a stylish networking area.

Every piece of event furniture has a story.

A lounge chair might be photographed at a product launch one week, welcome guests at a corporate conference the next and then become part of a VIP lounge at a sporting event.

While guests only see the finished result, that chair has already travelled quite a journey before anyone sits down.

    It starts in the warehouse

Every event begins in the warehouse.

Before a chair leaves the building, it is selected, inspected and prepared for loading. The upholstery is checked, the frame is cleaned and any marks are removed so it arrives looking its best.

Only when it's ready does it join the rest of the furniture for the event.

Then it's loaded onto the truck

Loading a truck isn't simply about fitting in as much furniture as possible.

Every item is loaded in an order that makes installation easier at the venue. Chairs for one area are grouped together, while furniture for another part of the event is loaded separately.

A well planned truck saves time and reduces unnecessary lifting during installation.

Event furniture carefully loaded for safe transport to the venue.

A new home for the day

Once on site, the chair finds its place.

It may become part of a networking lounge, a VIP hospitality suite, a media centre or an exhibition stand.

On its own, it's just a chair. Together with sofas, coffee tables and accessories, it helps create a complete environment.

    Hundreds of conversations

Throughout the event, the chair quietly does its job.

Someone enjoys their morning coffee on it. Two colleagues hold an informal meeting. A guest takes a break between conference sessions. Someone else sits down to charge their phone for a few minutes.

Every guest uses it differently, but each experience is part of the event.

The event ends, but the work doesn't

When the guests leave, the chair doesn't.

Installation teams carefully collect the furniture, load it back onto the truck and return it to the warehouse.

It's cleaned again, inspected for any damage and prepared for its next event.

Sometimes that next event is only a day or two away.

    Ready for the next story

Unlike furniture in an office or home, event furniture rarely stays in one place for long.

The same lounge chair may appear at a government reception, a sporting event, a luxury brand launch and a gala dinner all within a few weeks.

Each event gives it a different role, but the goal remains the same: helping create a comfortable space for guests.

The next time you take a seat at an event, spare a thought for the chair beneath you.

It has probably travelled hundreds of kilometers, been carefully cleaned, loaded, unloaded and positioned by an experienced team before you arrived.

It may not remember the conversations it hosted, but it has certainly been part of more events than most of us ever will.

From Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah: Creating Event Spaces Across the UAE

Contemporary hospitality furniture creating a premium event space in the UAE.

The UAE has become one of the world's leading destinations for business events, exhibitions, luxury hospitality and international conferences.

While the country is relatively compact, each emirate has its own style, venues and event requirements. Creating successful event spaces means understanding these differences and adapting furniture layouts to suit each location.

    Dubai never stands still

Dubai hosts some of the region's largest exhibitions, product launches and corporate events.

From exhibition centres and luxury hotels to rooftop venues and beachfront hospitality, furniture needs to be flexible, stylish and capable of supporting a wide range of event formats.

Spaces often change quickly, making efficient installation and adaptable furniture especially valuable.

Evolution Furniture supplied contemporary hospitality furniture for a corporate event in Dubai.

Abu Dhabi Blends Business with Prestige

Abu Dhabi is home to major government events, international summits, luxury hospitality experiences and high-profile cultural gatherings.

Many venues combine contemporary architecture with elegant interiors, requiring furniture that complements premium environments while supporting guest comfort and operational efficiency. Whether furnishing a conference, VIP hospitality lounge or gala dinner, layouts are often designed to create a polished and welcoming atmosphere.

    Sharjah has its own character

Known for its cultural and educational events, Sharjah often combines professionalism with a welcoming atmosphere.

Furniture layouts tend to focus on comfort, networking and creating spaces where visitors can spend time between presentations, exhibitions or meetings.

Simple, well planned layouts often work best.

A different pace in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah offers a completely different event setting.

Resorts, outdoor venues and scenic landscapes create opportunities for hospitality events, private functions and corporate retreats. Furniture must complement the surroundings while remaining practical for outdoor use and changing weather conditions.

The result is a relaxed atmosphere without compromising on quality.

Outdoor hospitality furniture creating a relaxed event setting in Ras Al Khaimah.

    One country, many different venues

One week, furniture may be installed inside a busy exhibition hall. The next, it may be arranged beside a swimming pool, on a hotel terrace or in a luxury ballroom.

Each venue requires a different approach to layout, guest flow and furniture selection, even when the event itself is similar.

Understanding how guests will use the space is always the starting point.

Consistency wherever the event takes place

Although every city has its own personality, the expectations remain the same.

Guests want comfortable seating, practical hospitality spaces and layouts that feel welcoming from the moment they arrive.

Whether the event takes place in Dubai, Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah, thoughtful furniture planning helps create an enjoyable experience for everyone attending.

Every destination brings new ideas, different venues and unique challenges.

Working across Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah has shown us that successful events aren't defined by their location alone. They're shaped by careful planning, practical layouts and furniture that supports the experience from beginning to end.

Evolution Furniture VVIP lounge seating installed for the ADNOC Investor Forum in Abu Dhabi.

For the ADNOC Investor Forum, the objective was to create a cohesive environment centred around an elegant all-white aesthetic that aligned with ADNOC's corporate branding. The furniture needed to deliver visual consistency across the stage, VVIP hospitality areas and supporting event spaces while maintaining comfort and practicality for guests throughout the event.

    Space Planning & Guest Experience

The hospitality layout was organised to support a variety of guest interactions throughout the event.

The VVIP Majlis provided a comfortable environment for invited dignitaries and senior guests, with lounge seating arranged to encourage conversation while maintaining an exclusive atmosphere. Stage furniture was positioned to provide clear sightlines and reinforce the clean architectural appearance of the presentation space.

Supporting hospitality areas continued the same furniture language, allowing guests to move naturally between formal presentations and informal networking spaces while experiencing a consistent environment throughout the venue.

    Project Outcome

The completed furniture installation delivered a cohesive hospitality environment that reflected ADNOC's premium corporate identity while supporting the operational requirements of the forum.

Consistent furniture selections across the venue created comfortable spaces for presentations, executive meetings and networking, demonstrating how carefully planned temporary furniture environments can enhance both functionality and guest experience during major corporate events.
